Our company, Eurotrade Ltd., was founded in 1990 and is the oldest truck trading company in Hungary. The founders are Hungarian individuals who saw opportunities in the commercial vehicle and parts distribution business after the start of the process known as regime change. The ownership has remained unchanged since the foundation.
Products and services
IVECO
We have been distributing the Italian IVECO brand since 2008, and during this time we have worked our way up the dealer ladder. From the initial “B” dealer status, through hundreds of cars sold, we signed the importer contract in December 2022 and since then we have been operating as a direct factory representative for both truck and parts sales.
TATRA
For more than 25 years (!) we have represented the manufacturer of Tatra trucks on the Hungarian market. The sale of Tatras with unique (patented) tubular chassis design is one of our success stories, as we have twice been voted the world’s best dealer by the manufacturer.
WIELTON
We have long been the leading distributor of Polish semi-trailers for Wielton, which for years has been the fastest growing trailer manufacturer in Europe. The rapidly growing Wielton has also taken over the Fruehauf, Langendorf, Lawrence David, Viberti and Guillén brands, creating the Wielton Group.
BYD
Our newest vehicle manufacturer in the range is the world’s largest electric car manufacturer, BYD. We have had a good business relationship with the company for many years in relation to our solar parks and the electric buses we manufacture in-house. As a direct result, in 2022 we signed an import contract to distribute BYD all-electric trucks in Hungary.
USED COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
The sale and purchase of used commercial vehicles through vehicle offsetting and acquisitions is a key activity of our company. In order to find the most suitable commercial vehicles for our partners abroad, we have set up a vehicle courier service, whereby our specialists locate, test, document and deliver the vehicles to the country.
SERVICE
Of course, where there is vehicle sales, there must be a service. At our central location, at exit 85 of the M1 motorway, the M1 Truck Centrum, we have a 14-station truck service centre, complete with a technical inspection line and a 28-metre-long manual and mechanical truck wash. Truck service is also available to our customers at our Kistarcsa site, located next to the M0 motorway.
SPARE PARTS AND TYRES TRADE
Our central warehouse for truck parts sales is located on the M1 motorway, and one of our most successful businesses, tyre sales, is also based here. We also have a parts and tyre sales operation at our M0TC site in Kistarcsa.
ONE-STOP SERVICE
Having set up a financial services subsidiary, Eurotrade Capital Zrt, we can now say that we are close to a full one-stop shop. We strive to provide our customers with all the products and services they may need in their transport/logistics activities, at competitive prices and locally. We offer our customers an optimal solution through our long-term rental business.
EUROTRADE SOLARTECH
In 2016, we started to develop renewable energy projects and related commercial activities. As a result, Eurotrade Ltd. subsidiaries now operate 10 MW of photovoltaic power generation capacity and we are working to create the conditions to be part of the growing domestic solar market.
An increasing share of projects for sustainable development is a priority for the owners.
Currently we serve our customers in three locations (Kisigmánd – M1 Truck Centrum, Kistarcsa – M0 Truck Centrum, Szombathely) and we are present in several parts of the country with our dealers.
In addition, our Slovakian subsidiary and our Transylvanian site, which will be opened in 2023, ensure that our customers are not left behind across borders.
Our goal is to provide a stable background for our growing number of domestic and foreign customers with our products and services, backed by decades of professional experience.
